Wheelchair Liberty Swing

Short Description
A swing consisting of a tubular frame supporting a moulded plastic cradle. A detachable ramp is available for wheelchair access onto the cradle. The wheelchair is secured with a locking device through the wheels. A swing motion is obtained by the person pulling on the tubular supporting struts or by their attendant pushing the cradle. The swing can also be used by someone without a wheelchair. Liberty swings have been installed in several public parks throughout Australia.

SAFETY: Whether or not the person is using a wheelchair, they are held securely in a seatbelt located in a lockable compartment in the rear seat. To reduce the risk of injury in public places, the unit needs to be surrounded by a secure fence with a lockable gate. The gate is opened with a Mlak key. A `Softfall` ground surface is also supplied around the swing for safety.
