Short Description
A plastic spike which can be added to the spout of a two litre plastic drink bottle to provide an economical irrigation system. The Aqua Spikes deliver water directly to the root zone of the plant at a rate of approximately 1 litre per hour preventing loss of water through evaporation. The absorption rate can be slowed by adding a small amount of sand to the spike creating a filter for the water to pass through.

COMMENTS: Adding a little liquid fertiliser to the plastic bottle allows the plant to be watered and fertilised at the same time.
