Short Description
The Control PROG is a trainable, static display infrared remote control. It can control infrared devices such as a TV, DVD, etc. Up to 241 infrared signals can be stored. Access can be achieved directly by pressing on the keys or indirectly by using one or two switches or a multi-function joystick. Macros can be programmed and various adjustments can be made to suit the user such as scanning speed and scanning sequence. Comes with a keyguard and lanyard. A range of options is available.
System Requirements
Specifications required when connecting to a computer: Windows PC computer only.
Connect the data cable (art.no 425618) to the computer terminal of Control Prog and connect the other end of the cable to the COM port of the computer. For connection to a USB-port use an adapter (Art.no 425620 Adapter USB/serial).
Switch Jacks: Output control switch type - 3.5mm jack plug 4-pole. Input control switch type - 3.5mm jack plug 2-pole.
Power: 4 x AA batteries, battery life 2 years (approximate).
More Details
When a key on the Control PROG is selected, a light and beep occur. The selected infrared signal is then sent. Similar to any infrared remote control, the Control PROG must be pointed in line of sight to the device/appliance that the user wishes to control.
Included with the Control PROG is:
A CD with GEWA Control Tool Software - allowing for back up and programming the settings on the Control PROG. Additional Computer Link-Up kit (serial) is required for this. CD also contains MS Word templates and pictures to create keypad overlays.

Raincoat: pre-moulded hygienic plastic cover designed to protect against moisture and dirt.
