Short Description
A stainless tubular steel mounting arm for positioning communication devices for use on manual or powered wheelchairs. The mount features two articulating joints for positioning the communication device at a variety of angles and a telescopic tube for up to 16 inches (406mm) of height adjustability. The mount clamps to the wheelchair frame and can be easily removed from the clamp site by releasing a lever.

INSTALLATION:
Can be installed on the right or left side of the chair
Articulating joints lock independently with an Allen key once correctly positioned
When installing to fixed or non tilting wheelchair the frame clamp is usually best fitted just behind the front caster wheel
For tilting wheelchairs the clamp is usually best positioned to the seat frame

MOUNTING DEVICE:
A communication device is mounted to the positioning mount via a mounting plate. Mounting plates are purchased through the supplier of the communication device and come in a wide range of sizes and styles.
CUSTOMISATION:
The DAESSY Positioner Mount comes with standard length tubing and round frame clamp. A variety of alternate tubing lengths or square frame clamp are available on request if required.
CAUTION:
If fitting to a tilt in space chair, fit while chair is in an upright position then ensure the joints are all locked securely prior to using tilt function.
