Short Description
The DaeSSy Folding Mount is a system for positioning communication devices to manual or powered wheelchairs The mount has a 90 degree angle when in use and allows for the device to be folded down away from the wheelchair out of the way of the user when not in use.

METHOD OF USE: The Folding Mount is attached to the wheelchair tubing via a frame clamp and can be easily lifted in and out of this fixture as required. Devices can be precisely positioned for use, with the folding action allowing the device to be moved away and positioned down beside the wheelchair when not required. This feature aids transfers into and out of the wheelchair. The Quick Release System allows simple attachment of the device to the mount with a plate affixed to the device and a wedge-shaped component at the head of the mount itself. With the wedge component slipped into the mount plate, attachment is secure. The Folding Mount is able to be used as right or left hand side mounting.

APPLICATION: Used to mount electronic communication devices, switches and keyboards to manual and powered wheelchairs.

ASSEMBLY: The mount is held in position by a round frame clamp (standard) that is permanently attached to wheelchair. It is suitable for most wheelchairs (manual and electric) frame tube sizes, shapes and orientations.

CUSTOMISED FEATURES:
Different mounting plates are available to accommodate most electronic communication devices and keyboards.
A square frame clamp can be provided on request or frame clamps to suite a variety of tubing diameters.

MATERIALS: Stainless steel tubing with anodized aluminium parts.

COMMENTS: Orders must include tube size for frame clamp and type of device to be attached to the device mounting plate.

Device consists of two stainless steel tubes joined with a flexible folding mechanism (enabling the attached communication device to be folded away to the side of the chair.

Can be purchased with a additional removable outer piece to allow attachment to tilting seat systems
