Short Description
An emergency call system which automatically telephones a contact person in the case of an emergency. It consists of a unit which is connected to both the telephone line and mains power and a neck pendant with an emergency button which is worn by the client. The telephone numbers of up to six contact people can be programmed into the unit.

RANGE: The range of operation of the Help Caller is approximately one suburban house block.

COMPONENTS: * The main unit connects to the telephone line and mains power. Has a built-in battery so will remain operational if there is a temporary mains power failure.
* The pendant is lightweight and water resistant. It is not necessary to remove the pendant when showering or bathing. Pendant is battery operated, and the battery will last several years with normal use.

OPERATION: When the emergency button is pushed, the Help Caller will automatically dial the first contact person. If the call is not answered after 90 seconds, the unit will call the second contact person and so on. When the contact person answers, they will hear a pre-recorded message indicating that help is required at the client`s home. The contact person then enters a code into their phone which stops the Help Caller from making any further calls. It is not neccesary for the client to talk to the contact person. If an answering machine picks up the call or if for any other reason the code is not pressed the machine will contine with calling the next number in sequence, it will call for approximately 18 hours.

COMMENTS: * The main unit can be programmed by the client or by the supplier.
* The voice message can be recorded by the client or by the supplier.
* Does not necessitate a change to the telephone or incur extra telephone charges.
* Able to dial mobile phone numbers.

WARRANTY: One year warranty against faulty materials and workmanship.
