Short Description
The MyLife Personal Medical Alert is an alarm system which can be integrated with your current telephone, broadband and other security lines if required. It is a fully monitored system. The unit has two way audio talk back and can operate up to 16 transmitters from each receiver.

Brooch
E-press Arthritic
Wireless wall mount base unit
Special needs interfaces that work with a range of switches, i.e. Wheelchair Tilt Switch, Jelly Bean Switches and Twitch Switches.

The Standard Pendants are hermetically sealed and recommended to be worn at all times. The supplier states they have an IP68 rating in hot and cold water. This means they are both water proof to a depth of 1 to 2 metres and are dust proof. They should be worn during showering.

The Lora Pendant has an IP66 rating. This means the transmitter is water resistant but cannot be immersed for any length of time without causing damage. It has a flexible silicone neck cord with emergency release.

The internal battery has a typical life of 5 years.

Method of activation:
The press button is recessed into the pendant or wrist band. To activate the alarm the press button needs to be pressed. There is also a help button on the base unit.

The receiver unit is either a built in push button telephone or separate to the household telephone.

Loud ringer facility, illuminated "Help" button, cancel button, up to 5 daily reminders.

Testing Procedure:
The unit reminds the user to test the pendant monthly. This is done by the user pressing the pendant button and responding.
