Method Of Operation
Purchase a "basic" data pack SIM card e.g. 5mb per month (Telstra have a $5 per month casual plan Data SIM Card ). Best to avoid pre paid SIM as the device cannot receive SMS alerts to advise pre paid is getting low.
SIM card must have SIM PIN security deactivated. This is normally done by placing SIM card into a normal mobile phone and deactivating the SIM PIN Security.
How it Works:
Client goes missing. Family member or carer calls mobile number of SIM card in the CareTracker.
CareTracker will ring, hang up and then determine exact location. TC-100 will then notify tracking server of location. Tracking server will record location in its mapping database and also send location email to nominated email address set up in tracking server. This can be to a mobile phone if it has email capabilities.
Email will contain exact location address as well as Google map link of location.
User can also log onto tracking server to determine location of tracker.
TC-100 can also auto track its location at pre sent intervals allowing for movement of TC-100 to be monitored via mapping on tracking server.
