Short Description
A plastic transmitter worn on a pendant around the neck or mounted. Designed to alert the carer via a pager unit which has a spring loaded clip. This emits an auditory and visual alert. Only one size and colour available.
More Details
This radio frequency system includes; two paging transmitters and a carers belt pager. The paging transmitter is activated when the button is pressed. The carers belt pager (receiver) emits an alarm sound when the transmitter is activated, which is available in two selectable alarm tones. The pager continues to "call" until the reset button is turned off by the carer after having attended to the caller. A small green LED visual alert is present on the paging transmitter and carers belt pager. Supplier stated that there is no vibration for this system at this stage. The transmitters use one A23 12-volt battery. The pager uses two AA 1.5-volt batteries. Supplier stated that the system is suitable for home environments.
