Short Description
A wireless electronic monitoring system which alerts the caregiver when a client has wandered beyond a pre-defined area. Suitable for use in in-home or residential settings. The system comprises a wristwatch transmitter, a home monitoring unit, caregiver`s pager and optional visual alerts.
Options are available for larger residential facilities and hospitals and can be customised to suit the individual facilities needs.

FEATURES: A de-activation feature allows extended battery functionality, and a low battery indicator signifies time to change.
A flexible, generic wireless communication platform that can be set to monitor individuals or groups of clients art residential care facilities.
Data is constantly gathered and analysed, not requiring the person at risk of wandering to actively intervene, enabling them to go about daily routines undisturbed.

COMPONENTS: The wireless system consists of :
PERSONAL WATCHER : A lightweight, waterproof wrist watch worn by the client, that sends a silent signal to the Home Monitoring Unit if the client leaves a designated area or tampers with the Personal Watcher. It is fully compatible with Homefree "care centres` monitoring system. It requires two hands to fasten/remove, and has a low battery indicator.

HOME MONITORING UNIT: An easy to use data processing unit that processes information about the client`s movements and communicates with the Central Monitoring Service at need. It has automatic communication and alarm capabilities and can be customised to individual environments. This is plugged into electricity and telephone outlets.,

CAREGIVERS` PAGER: Provides immediate local notification in the home. Allows the caregiver to go about daily activities within the designated indoor and outdoor home periphery.

MANNED MONITORING CENTRE : All local alarms are received simultaneously by the Central Monitoring Service. The CMS assigns All local alarms are simultaneously received by a Central Monitoring Service. The person at risk of wandering, is assigned a personalised schedule of daily routines and local range parameters, which is automatically downloaded to the Home Unit or changed, as needed. The Monitoring Centre provides guidance and support by:
> Contacting caregivers to offer further assistance when alarms are received.
> Updating caregivers on the client`s schedule, as needed
> Confirming technical condition of the Home Based Unit.


INSTALLATION: Homefree at Home monitoring units are plugged into electricity and telephone outlets. No complicated installation is required.

APPLICATION: A wireless, electronic monitoring system for alerting carer`s when a client with dementia has wandered beyond a pre-defined area. Body worn sensors send a silent alert to care-givers, and transfer data to a monitoring centre. It is based on a real-time, continuous monitoring concept.

Home Free On-Site: Continous monitoirng for Care Centres, divides premises into virtual, user-defined areas for an indication of the wander`s location.
Home Free On-Time: Simple to use, single door monitor. Alerts caregivers when a wanderer approaches a monitored door/exit.
Home Free On-Call: Enables reidents of a care facility to call for assistance anywhere throughout the facility, giving staff immediate resident location information.
Home Free On-Touch: Similar to the Home free On Call system, this unit is specifically designed to accommodate group homes, independent living settings, personal care and assisted living facilities.
