FEATURES: Suitable for either ear. Noise cancelling (some models) reduces the static sound that some headsets have. Adjustable headband (relevant models). Flexible microphone boom.
METHOD OF USE: A headset can be used in place of or in conjunction with a regular telephone handpiece. Depending upon the style it is held into place with a band over the ear or a headband over the head. NOTE: the actual connection required may depend upon the phone system you use. Check with the supplier for more details.
PEOPLE USEFUL FOR: Headsets may be beneficial for those with neck, shoulder, arm or hand pain/weakness. They also allow the individuals` hand/s to be freed up for other tasks.
COMMENTS: There are also a range of amplifiers available.
