Allows the user to take an still image of what is being magnified to enable extended viewing time.
Short Description
An electric, LCD screen mounted camera that magnifies any image the camera is focused on. The Acrobat LCD magnifies and enlarges objects and text onto a 19" or 22" LCD screen. 19? or 22? monitors provide up to 75x adjustable magnification (depending on model). The device features an adjustable and rotating camera arm which allows the camera to be positioned at any angle for viewing. It is easily transportable and has a built in handle.
More Details
It can be used for reading, writing or viewing magnified images at any distance. Can also be used as a mirror for applying make-up or other personal grooming tasks. The device features user selectable enhanced contrast modes and simple to use controls. Unit is provided with a remote control.
Installation & Set up:
Unpack the unit and place the screen on a flat level surface
Clip the camera unit into the camera arm and connect the cable
Connect the power to an available wall power outlet
Turn the power on (switch is located on the rear, right side of the LCD unit)
Adjusting the Camera Position:
Once the camera is attached to the camera arm, push the camera left to right as required or pivot the camera as required.
The camera can be manually rotated 340 degrees
Adjusting the Magnification:
Press and hold the '+' or '-' button on the remote or the camera to zoom in or out
NOTE: the extent of the magnification is dependent upon the distance of the camera to the object.
Method of Use:
Distance Viewing: Open the reading lens and rotate the camera forward to capture people, objects and scenery.
Self Viewing: Close the reading lens and rotate the camera to face towards the user.
Reading & Writing: Close the reading lens and rotate the camera to face towards the desk top.
Viewing Modes:
7 viewing modes available by pressing the "Mode" button on the remote control or on the camera control.
Full Colour Mode - gives a true colour representation of the image.
Black and White Image
Enhance Positive Image - provides a white background with black text.
Enhanced Negative Image - provides a black background with white text.
Colour Select 1 - provides a blue background with yellow text.
Colour Select 2 - provides a black background with green text.
Colour Select 3 - provides a black background with yellow text.

Available with a 19 inch or 22 inch screen.
Options
Can be used with a standard computer.
Camera Arm - two other alternative camera arms are available (short or long). The short arm is not attached to the LCD monitor, but is on it's own stand. The long arm is not attached to the LCD monitor and can be clamped to a table top.
A Carrying Case is available for the 19 inch system only.
Additional XY Table is available. This is a small table that is positioned on the table and smoothly glides in a left/right and up/down motion to facilitate easier reading.

Cleaning Requirements
Always ensure the unit is turned off whilst cleaning.
Clean the LCD with a soft dry cloth or an electrostatic dusting wipe. Do not use liquid cleaners on any plastic surfaces.
Clean the lens as needed with a lens cloth (provided when purchased).
