Short Description
This car seat has been designed for children with disabilities. It has two positions an upright travelling position and a reclining one. It is available in two sizes for children from 2-6 year and 4-10 years. The seat depth, seat width and backrest height are adjustable. The seat can tilt up to 25 degrees and a removable footrest can be attached. It is available as a rigid standard base or as a turn-and-push subframe which can swivel to assist placement of child, as well as attachment of harness. There are a range of postural supports available.

MATERIALS:
Seat - steel tubular construction, powder coated. Available as Silver or a special colour.
Padding - blended fabric, washable as 40 degrees.

ATTACHMENT:
The adapter for installation of the seat in the car is available as a rigid standard base or as a turn-and-push subframe which turns either left or right. The optional turn-and-push subframe is designed to allow carers to easily transfer children in and out of the seat.
COLOUR: The frame is available in black and the padded seat is available in blue or grey and in three patterns.
Additional Comment
A doctor's letter is required when using this car seat. The letter needs to state that the user is exempt on medical grounds from using an Australian Standards compliant child restraint. This letter must accompany the user at all times as it applies to all travel in a vehicle.

Installation
The standard anchorage points for a child restraint system are not strong enough for a specialised car seat such as this. A modification is required to ensure the anchorage points are suitable and therefore safe. The modification needs to be undertaken and certified by a company, which is authorised by Queensland Transport to modify motor vehicles.
