Short Description
A plush padded car seat designed for children with special needs. The seat is suitable for children between 8 and 47kg. The Traveller must be placed in the rear passenger seat in a forward facing position, and used in combination with a lap-sash seat belt. Available in one size only.

MATERIALS: The seat is covered in padding and plush fabric. The car seat features a firmly padded adjustable headrest, a removable washable fabric cover and a 5-point webbing Harness.
FEATURES: The seat has a recline bar which can provide some seat recline which can assist children with limited head control. The amount of recline achieved depends on the model of vehicle in which it is placed and the installation method. The recline bar requires brackets which are contained in most European vehicles. Some vehicle owners will need to purchase the brackets separately in order to use the recline function.
PEOPLE USEFUL FOR: The chair is suitable for children weighing between 8 and 47kg. A dual top tether strap provides extra strength and safety for heavier children. The car seat should not be used if the child`s trunk exceeds the backrest height.

Installation
The chair is supplied with all componentry required for installation in a vehicle.
The car seat needs to be installed according to the manufacturers instructions and the type of mounting required will depend on the model of the vehicle in which it is used. The standard anchorage points may not be sufficient, particularly if a larger child is using the seat. If non standard anchorage is required, this will need to be completed and certified by a Queensland transport authorised modifier.

Standards
The manufacturer states that the car seat complies with FMVSS-213 and Canadian Standards. As it does not meet Australian standard AS/NZS 1754 ( Child Restraint Systems for use in Motor Vehicles) the child`s parents will need to obtain a letter from a general practitioner stating that the user is exempt on medical grounds from using an Australian standards compliant child restraint. The letter must accompany the user at all times as it applies to all travel in a vehicle.
