More Details
METHOD OF USE: When turning the ignition on, the dashboard receiver will go to amber. When all seats belts (connected to the system) are fastened, the receiver will give two beeps and go to green.

While driving, if the seat belt is disconnected by the child or another passenger, the dashboard receiver will immediately go to red and give a continuous audible beeping warning. The beeping will stop after pressing the mode button, but the red light will stay on until you pull over and reconnect the seat belt. The system will then go green with two beeps.

INSTALLATION: Buckle-Me-Up is suitable for most makes and models, however check with the supplier. It has a low power consumption and is simple to install and program.

The belt clip - Fit the transmitter to the seat belt buckle with the wrap around rubber stamp. At one end is a magnetic reed switch that transmits a signal to the dash-mounted receiver when the seat belt is fastened.

The Plug - Insert into a cigarette light or adaptor socket to power the dashboard unit by the 12V car battery.

Dash Mount Receiver - Attach to the dashboard with a Velcro strip. The unit will give alerts for up to six belt clip transmitters.

POINTS TO CONSIDER: The Buckle-Me-Up system does not lock your child into the seat belt, and it does not prevent them from undoing the seat belt. Emergency Services and Rescue regulations in Australia prevent the locking of a seat belt as this is hazardous in an emergency situation. Buckle-Me-Up will not stop children slipping out of a poorly fitted seat belt, or assist in the effectiveness of a damaged or incorrectly fitted restraint system.
