OPERATION: Electric chain drive lift and fold mechanism with control switch located on handrail. Optional remote control. Manual backup speedwrench is standard.
INSTALLATION: Queensland Transport requires that modifications comply with the Australian Design Rules and the QT Code of Practice and that devices are installed to manufacturer`s instructions. Modifications must be performed by an authorised modifier. Major modifications must be approved by the Queensland transport vehicle safety and operations section or the approved person scheme. Once approved, a certificate of modification will be provided and issued with a modification plate. For further information regarding installation and approval requirements contact your local Queensland Transport customer service centre.
