Short Description
A transfer device that is designed to assist people to transfer in and out of a car. It consists of a top and bottom pad. The inner layers of both pads are a low friction material that enables the layers to slide easily across one another. The transfer device is secured to the car seat using a strap that is secured around the rear of the car seat.

MATERIALS: The inner layer of both pads are a low friction material to enable the pads to slide over one another. The outer layer of the bottom pad is a slip resistant vinyl. The outer layer of the top pad is foam and velour.
METHOD OF USE: The car seat slide is designed to enable the user to independently, or with assistance from an attendant, to slide their bottom back into the middle of the seat, turn themselves around and lift their legs into the car. If assistance is required, the attendant can use the webbing positioning handles to assist the user to turn around and face the front correctly.
Place the bottom pad well back on the seat with the joining strap central at the back. Turn the top pad sideways to the side of the seat so that ths pad is central under the user`s hips. The position will depend on where the user sits down on the edge of the seat. Once the user has turned around and is facing the front correctly, fasten the buckle on the top pad around the back of the car seat. This will ensure the user does not slided forward off the seat.
SAFETY: The supplier states that this device should always be used with a seat belt.
CLEANING: Hand or machine wash up to 80 degrees. Air dry or cool tumble dry.
