Short Description
A handle that can be temporarily fixed into the door striker of a vehicle, to provide a support bar that may assist people when completing a car transfer. It features a slip resistant handle and a self locking locator. Also incorporates emergency side window breaker and stainless steel emergency web cutter.
More Details
MATERIALS: The shaft is made of alloyed steel, and the handle is slip-resistant.
METHOD OF USE: The handle is positioned into the door striker. To lock into place, rotate the handle. The handle can then be used as a support to use when transferring in and out of a vehicle.
To Use As Emergency Web Cutter:
Remove slack from seatbelt, insert belt into cutter slot, pull firmly across body.
To Use As Window Breaker:
Strike center of side window with pointed end, using a hard, snapping motion.
POINTS TO CONSIDER: Will suit majority of vehicles that have a `U` shaped striker. Ensure the vehicle has two bolts or screws attaching the striker to the door frame. If your vehicle has a light switch in the striker, be sure the Handybar does not interfere with its operation. The manufacturer has a website which details those types of door strikers with which the Handybar will not be suitable.
