Short Description
A nylon transfer sheet which is joined end to end to form a continuous roll. Webbing handles are sewn along the full length on both sides. Used to assist a person to transfer in and out of a car.

MATERIALS: A strong white nylon sheet made which is joined end to end to form a continuous roll. Webbing straps are located on either side.
METHOD OF USE: . Place the Car Roller Sheet on the front or back car seat with the large flat joining seam on the underside. The sheet should cover the area the user will be sitting on for the journey (NOTE: the car seat belt should be done snugly to stop the user sliding while driving). The sheet should hang over the side of the seat with the pulling handles running parallel across the seat from the open door into the car.
. The user should sit facing the open door. They can either push themselves back into the car or be assisted by the helper pushing the user`s knees or hips into the car seat then lifting their feet and assisting the user to face the front of the car.
. To assist in getting out of the car, swivel the user`s legs around and place on ground. By using the handles of the sheet, pull the user forward to the edge of the seat. Assist to stand.
COMMENTS: Can also be used to assist if the user does a sliding transfer with a transfer board.
