Short Description
A swivel motorised car seat lift designed for use with mini buses, 4WDs, and vans. The swivel function may be electrically operated (Turny Orbit) or manual (Turny HD). The seat is pivoted to face out towards the car door then the remote control is used to first extend the seat out of the door, then lower the seat to the ground. The original seatbelt is used. Modifications to the vehicle are minimal. A range of accessories is available.

The Turny can be fitted to the original car seat, or if more head or leg space is required, it can be fitted to a lower height seat. Available for both left and right hand installation.
MATERIALS: steel construction
METHOD OF USE: 1. For the Turny Orbit model, release the swivel seat safety stop by lifting up the handle. Turn the seat out 90 degrees. For the Turny HD use the hand control in/out button to electrically move the seat 90 degress out of the vehicle.
2. Begin lowering with the hand control.
3. The seat first slides out of the vehicle, then lowers the seat to the desired level.
COMMENTS: The swivel seat is suitable for high vehicles such as four wheel drives or vans. Modifications to the vehicle are minimal, therefore the vehicle can be returned to its original condition when required.
If used for self-driving, a removable or collapsible steering wheel is required.

Turny Orbit: manual swivel in/out of vehicle, electrically operated raiser and lower. Available in lifting range of 300mm or 395mm

BEV-seat; wireless remote control, folding foot support, seat height raising kit, protective bags for belt cartridge and/or sensor mat.
Installation
The base is fitted into the car`s original seat attachment points in the floor. The seat is generally installed in the rear passenger seat. Other locations may be possible -please consult your vehicle modifier in this regard. Installation must be done by an authorised installation agent.

Licence & Insurance Requirements
Queensland transport requires that modifications comply with the Australian Design Rules and the QT Code of Practice and that devices are installed to manufacturers instructions. Modifications must be performed by an authorised modifier. Major modifications must be approved by the Queensland transport vehicle safety and operations section or the approved person scheme. Once approved, a certificate of modification will be provided and issued with a modification plate. For further information regarding installation and approval requirements contact your local Queensland Transport customer service centre.
To ensure Insurance cover, the vehicle owner should advise their Insurance company of the approved vehicle modifications.
