Short Description
This product is a swivel base that makes it possible to turn the car seat out over the car`s doorstep when getting in or out of the car. It is designed to be fitted with a low height car seat. Available to suit two-door and four-door cars. Able to be fitted to the driver, front passenger, or rear passenger position in the car. Can be manually operated or power operated with a remote control.

MATERIALS: the frame is steel
METHOD OF USE: To operate the manual model, lift the release lever on the side of the seat, then turn the seat out face the door. The lever will lock into an outer catch position.
To operate the electric model, using a remote control, hold the hand control and press the button until the seat is facing out to the position required. It is possible to vary the stopping position to allow the user`s legs to be lifted in or out of the car. The hand control can be hung up or put to the side when not in use.
COMMENTS: Can be installed into sedan vehicles. This device is not suitable for high vehicles such as four wheel drives or commercial vans. Changes to the car are minimal and can easily be restored when required. Turnout can be transferred to another car. In position in the car, the original seatbelts are used.

Two models are available:
1. Turnout 4M is manually controlled and is suitable for four-door cars.
2. Turnout 4E is powered by a remote control and is suitable for four-door cars.
All models are able to be installed on the driver or passenger side.

Installation
The swivel base is mounted on mounting bracket with a low foundation height, modified for the particular car model. Specific mounting brackets are available for the most common car models. The base is fitted into the car`s original seat attachment points in the floor. Installation must be done by an authorised installation agent.

Licence & Insurance Requirements
Queensland transport requires that modifications comply with the Australian Design Rules and the QT Code of Practice and that devices are installed to manufacturers instructions. Modifications must be performed by an authorised modifier. Major modifications must be approved by the Queensland transport vehicle safety and operations section or the approved person scheme. Once approved, a certificate of modification will be provided and issued with a modification plate. For further information regarding installation and approval requirements contact your local Queensland Transport customer service centre.
To ensure Insurance cover, the vehicle owner should advise their Insurance company of the approved vehicle modifications.
