Short Description
A folding battery powered chair designed to transport a person up and down stairs by an attendant. The user sits on a hammock style seat which is in an upright position as the stairclimber moves up or down the stairway. Chest and leg straps keep the user in position. Operated by push button controls.

CONSTRUCTION: A metal framed folding chair with canvas sling seat and wide velcro fastener leg and body straps for security. A rechargeable battery powered base has strong rubber crawler belts.
CONTROLS: Magnetic brake. Unit is key operated with push button drive controls on handle at top of backrest.

BATTERIES: DC12v/15AmpHour
COMMENTS: Maximum angle of stair - 35 degrees. Minimum size of landing of stair - width of stair 1.2m x depth 1.2m.
