SEAT: The vinyl seat and backrest can fold back when not in use. It swivels and locks at 45 degrees and 90 degrees at both the top and bottom of the stairs. The armrests can be flipped back via a release lever. It features a retractable seat belt.
FOOTRESTS: A fold down foot platform is attached. Two positions for height from the seat.
CONTROLS: On/ off button can be on top of either left or right armrest.
POWER: The stairclimber is powered by 2 12v sealed batteries. They need to be charged when the system is not in use. The charger can be used at top or bottom of stairs. It features a wireless remote call send unit (therefore seat can be moved up and down the stairs without sitting in it)
FEATURES: The stair climber has a self locking worm gear drive. It has an electronic controller that can be adjusted for the speed of the system and the user's weight. This can prevent jerkiness and improve smoothness in the ride.
INSTALLATION: The tracking can be mounted either side of the stairway. Adjustments can be made to ensure a good fitting.
