METHOD OF LIFT OPERATION: Lift is controlled by an internal button activation system. Customisation is available i.e. raised buttons with or without Braille, Automatic door operators.

METHOD OF DOOR OPERATION: Manual or automatic opening systems are available.

ACCESSIBILITY OF CONTROL PANEL WITHIN THE LIFT: Controls are located in region/s as specified by the user.


Features
LANDING DOORS: The Apollo is fitted standard with a swing action, prime coated redi-cote door with a full length handle, glass view panel and brass door interlock latch. Other options and finishes available. Automatic door operators are available as an optional extra.

INTERNAL FEATURES: The lift car is available in a number of finishes - smooth white colourbond interior trimmed with extruded aluminium or custom finishes such as timber, MDF, and stainless steel.

Models
Two models of residential lifts for people with disabilities are available:
The Apollo: Powered by water hydraulic cylinders. Lift is supplied with self supporting tower and doors. Able to be built and finished in a style that suits the user. Aussie Lifts claims that this lift is quiet and low in maintenance. Travels two levels. Can be installed internally or externally.
The Gemini: Powered by water hydraulic cylinders using recycled water from holding tank. The Gemini can be installed on two storey homes that have a verandah or large patio. Supplied as a complete unit with white colour bond cladding. The Gemini has little building costs and can be established in two days. Suitable for external use. Custom built in Australia.
A large range of other models are available including the Endeavour, the ML1000 Manual and Deluxe.





Options
A range of customisation is available - for example doors, controls, control height, platform width and depth.




Safety Features
Key lockable push button controls.
Emergency stop button in the lift car.
Back up battery power for lighting & lowering of the car.
Emergency manual lowering facility provided in the machine cabinet.
Emergency telephone.
2 x Photo-electric sensors across the door entrance.
A non-reversal timer of 5 seconds is fitted to allow the rider in the car to open the landing door once the car has stopped without the threat of the car being called by another operator.


Installation
Lift can be installed via "Crane in" or "assembly in place"
The lift comes complete with tower, which can be fitted to an owner supplied shaft or have sheeting attached directly to the tower.
Cladding is to be in compliance with the lift code.
Supplier requests the following work to be completed by other relevant professions:
All building work such as the concrete slab, upper landing penetrations, barrier protection in the ceiling cavity and cladding to the external of the lift tower.
Supply of a 240V. 15A electrical circuit to the Machine Cabinet.
Supply and connection of a telephone line to the lift shaft terminating in the junction box provided by the lift installers (this can be an extension of the residence phone).
Painting of the landing doors, as they are supplied prime painted only. Painting of the fibro infill inside the lift shaft between the two floors.

12 months on all parts and labour.

Maintenance
Supplier recommends that the lift be serviced at no greater intervals than 12 months.

Standards
For some types of equipment, specific Australian Standards are applicable to the materials used in, the manufacturing and installation of products. Compliance with relevant Standards is indicated by written certification that a product has been tested and assessed as compliant with specified Australian Standards. Purchasers are advised to check with the supplier or manufacturer of an item as to its compliance with the relevant Australian Standards.

Aussie Lifts state that all their products comply with Australian Standards. AS1735 part 17
