Short Description
A range of portable, manually operated or powered occupant or attendant operated pool hoists. The hoist is designed for domestic or health care facility use. The lift features a contoured seat which travels vertically, lowering the occupant in and out of a pool. A range of options is available and it can be easily dismantled. May be customised to suit the individual client.

The pool lift can be converted to a powered pool lift by removing the handle and inserting a powered drill. The removable seat is made of polypropylene and is adjustable in height with 50mm increments. The hoist is available in a portable or fixed model and is powered using a 12 volt battery. The hoist may be manufactured with a range of attachments to suit individual clients and is dismantled by removing two bolts which attach the lift to the base.
Features
MATERIALS: The hoist consists of a stainless steel mast and boom, which has a plastic, contoured seat attached.
BASE PLATE: The hoist may be installed with either a fixed or portable base plate. The portable base is a leg mount base which may be fitted with castors. The fixed hoist has a base plate bolted to the ground.
MAST: The hoist has a vertical mast with the controls, and seat attached.
BOOM: The seat or sling attaches to the boom using a hinge system. This enables the occupant to swivel 180 degrees over the water while seated.
SEAT: The seat has drainage holes in the seat base and backrest, and swing away arms to allow a side transfer.
ACTION: Vertical
POWER SOURCE: The hoist is battery powered using a 12 volt battery.
BATTERY CHARGING: If the hoist is used outdoors it may be fitted with a solar panel to recharge the battery. Alternatively it may be attached to a power supply to recharge.
CONSIDERATION FOR USE: The hoist is suitable for use with a below ground pool, with a pool edge that is level with the ground.
METHOD OF OPERATION: A hand held control is used to operate the powered hoist and it may be operated by the occupant or an attendant.
SAFETY FEATURES: The hoist contains a limit switch which will prevent the hoist from lowering the occupant into the water in the event of a problem with the hoist.
PORTABILITY: The base of the hoist is on castors which enables the user to move the hoist to different locations around the pool or inside.
ARMRESTS: The chair has swing away arm rests which enables the occupant to complete a side transfer.
