Short Description
A mobile, battery powered patient lifter which brings a person from a seated to supported standing position. Suitable for domestic and institutional setting, with a lifting capacity of 190kg. A range of slings and accessories are available.

MATERIALS: Powder coated steel.
BASE: U- shape, width adjustable base. Features a detachable, slip -resistent footplate that can be removed for stepping and walking practice; and a Pro- Active pad i.e. height adjustable, moulded knee support that supports the sides of the knees.
MAST: The steering handle is an upside- U shape located at the top of the mast.
BOOM: Features a straight boom with moulded forearm rests with vertical hand grips which allows the user`s arm to be supported when being raised into a standing position.
SLINGS: The range of slings are made from a polyester material and are available in the following styles:
1. Toiletting sling which fits under the user`s arms around the lower back. This allows for easy access for toiletting and dressing.
2. Transfer sling which has the thigh supports, to allow the person to be transferred in a sitting position. The sling is attached to the boom through the waist and also the legs.
3. Walking sling which has thigh straps that clip on to the rest of the sling. This sling attaches to the boom through the cord as well as clip pads to the side of the boom.
CONTROLS: There are dual controls available including a hand- held control on an extendable cord with a hook that allows it to be placed on the mast. Also there are mast- mounted controls.
POWER: 24V 5Ah battery [supplied with two batteries and charger are supplied as standard]. The battery that is concealed under the base of the mast. A battery discharge indicator constantly displays the amount of power in the battery system and indicates when the battery needs charging. A service timer displays the hours and minutes of the motor usage to enable accurate service intervals.
BATTERIES: Battery recharging involves connecting the hoist to the supplied separate battery charger.This requires the hoist to be stored wth access to a power point.
CASTORS: Swivel- style, low friction castors. There are dual 125mm diameter castors on the front and rear, the rear pair with brakes.
METHOD OF USE: This stand up lifter is designed to assist with the stand transfer of a person from a seated position to a seated position. They need to have the ability to weight bear to some extent. The use of the underarm torso sling, weight bearing footplate and the contoured knee pad provide the three points of support. The person needs to be able to hold onto the hand grips to assist the standing process.
The raising and lowering and width adjustment of the base is operated electrically through the hand held or mast- mounted controller.
SAFETY: There is a red emergency stop button on the mast and also a manual- operated lowering handle.
WARRANTY: 12 months.
