Short Description
A fixed ceiling hoist with a battery powered vertical and horizontal movement using a hand held control. It remains fixed to overhead tracking. A padded two point spreader bar is standard. A four point tilting frame spreader bar is optional. A range of slings, tracking options, and other accessories are available.

TRACKING: This particular ceiling hoist can be used with either fixed tracking, non- permanent tracking systems [Easy Track], or a gantry. The fixed tracking has numerous straight sections and curved sections [45 and 90 degrees] available. The Easy Track is available in two, three, and four post systems. There are various tracking options available:
. X-Y Transverse System - to improve room coverage and allow movement in different directional planes.
. Exchanger - allows movement between different tracks.
. Turntable - a small unit that allows the hoist to move in more than one direction.
. Cathedral Ceiling Brackets - allows the tracking to be installed onto a sloped ceiling.
. Wall Post Mount - an alternative to ceiling mount.

SPREADER BAR: Standard: features two points for sling attachment with a safety gate at each point to prevent the sling from accidentally unhooking. The sling hooks fold up to make it easy to transport. The wide- set sling hooks are designed to make the occupant more comfortable.
Options: DPS [Dynamic Positioning System] which is a tilting frame four point spreader bar with keyhole attachment points. A range of stretcher frames are available.
SLINGS: A range of loop and clip slings are available for use on the applicable two and four- point spreader bars. The Arjo Walking Jacket is also compatible.
CONTROLS: Electrically operated, hand held push button control on an extendible cord. Four push buttons indicate the direction of movement and one push button is used to automatically return the hoist to the charging position.Speed of vertical and horizontal movement can be programmed.
The hand held control is a narrow, rectangular shape with a hook at the end.
There are also dual controls on the front of the lift cassette.
POWER: The cassette is operated by two 5 Ah batteries.There is an in-built battery charger that charges when the hoist is parked at the clip- on charging station, which can be positioned anywhere on the track. A button on the hand control automatically sends the hoist to its point to recharge. Automatic return to charge is standard with the Maxi Sky 600.
BATTERIES: 2 x 5amp/hr will average 150 cycles [loaded at 75kg]. Low battery indicator [audible and visual LED].

POINTS TO CONSIDER: It is recommended that prior to using this product, training in manual handling and the correct use of assistive devices should be undertaken.
SAFETY: Safety features include:
. Manually operated emergency lowering device.
. Emergency stopping feature in case of mechanical failure.
. Electrical up and down emergency buttons.
. A pull cord is used to stop the hoist in an emergency.
MAINTENANCE: Refer to the supplier and manufacturer manual for maintence instructions and safety warnings.
