Short Description
A portable, ultra light ceiling hoist with a battery powered vertical movement using a hand held control. Features a "Pass Through System" that allows both the lift cassette and user to transfer directly from one track to another i.e. room to room track transfers can be performed without modifying doorways. A range of slings and tracking options are available.

TRACKING: This particular ceiling hoist can be used with either fixed tracking, non- permanent tracking systems [Easy Track], or a gantry. The fixed tracking has numerous straight sections and curved sections [45 and 90 degrees] available. The Easy Track is available in two, three, and four post systems. There are various tracking options available:
. X-Y Transverse System - to improve room coverage and allow movement in different directional planes.
. Exchanger - allows movement between different tracks.
. Turntable - a small unit that allows the hoist to move in more than one direction.
. Cathedral Ceiling Brackets - allows the tracking to be installed onto a sloped ceiling.
. Wall Post Mount - an alternative to ceiling mount.
Additionally, there is the "Pass Through System" which allows the swing transfer of both the cassette and the occupant directly from one track to another i.e. room to room track transfers can be performed without modifying doorways.

SPREADER BAR: The standard spreader bar features two points for sling attachment with a safety gate at each point to prevent the sling from accidentally unhooking. The sling hooks fold up to make it easy to transport. The wide- set sling hooks are designed to make the occupant more comfortable.
SLINGS: There is a range of loop slings suitable for use with the two- point spreader bar.
CONTROLS: Electrically operated, hand held push button control on an extendible cord. Two push buttons indicate the direction of movement. The hand held control is a narrow, rectangular shape with a hook at the end.
There are also dual controls on the front of the lift cassette.
POWER: The cassette is operated by two 2.3 Ah batteries. Power indicator on charging module.
BATTERIES: 2 x 2.3amp/hr will average two to four hours to a complete charge or 30 transfers at 80kg. Low battery indicator [audible and visual LED].
TRANSPORTATION: Option: can supply a collapsible trolley to transport the portable unit between rooms.
POINTS TO CONSIDER: It is recommended that prior to using this product, training in manual handling and the correct use of assistive devices should be undertaken.
SAFETY: Safety features include:
. Emergency brake [operates the same way as a car safety belt].
. Manual lowering system device [located on the motor cab].
. Electrical up and down emergency buttons.
. Emergency stopping [push button - located below the unit].
. A current limiter prevents lift use if the battery is low.
