Short Description
The Likorall ceiling hoist and rail system is available in a variety of configurations with a large number of options. It is able to be used in wet room environments and can be mounted in concrete or wooden joists, in various types of walls or with floor supports. Can also be used with the Liko FreeSpan or Ultra Twn FreeSpan systems, which are a freestanding, mobile frames. It is electrically operated, with a hand held control and has emergency stop and lowering functions. Lifting capacity is 200kg - 400kg.

TRACKING: The tracking consists of aluminium in grey (natural finish) or white and is available in a range of configurations and options:
* A rail switch makes it possible to switch from one rail system to another. It is available with mechanical or electrical control.
* A turntable can join rails from several different directions at one junction, and then switch the hoist over to the appropriate rail.
* A raised traverse carrier is available where a secondary rail is lifted up to the same level as the primary rails. This allows additional lifting height which may be useful when the ceilings are low.
* A traverse rail system enables the hoist is be used anywhere in a room. A moveable rail is suspended from two fixed rails.
Liko FreeSpan System
The hoist can also be used in conjunction with the Liko FreeSpan System, which is a mobile, freestanding rail system. This system can easliy be moved to different areas within a room or facility / home environment. It consists of three aluminium components: a rail, pre-fitted carriage and two uprights. No tools are required for assembly. Available in eight different rail lengths.
Likorall Ultra Twin FreeSpan System
This system is similiar to the FreeSpan system, however utilises interacting dual Likorall hoists mounted on parallel rails. It will enable a lifting capacity of 400kg. Able to be used with either a stanard sling (via the Ultra Slingbar) or a stretcher attachment for a horizontal lift.
SPREADER BAR: The standard spreader bar features two points for sling attachment with a safety latch at each point to prevent the sling from accidentally unhooking. Several other spreader bars are available as options including Slingbar Slim and Slingbar Wide, which both offer two points of attachment and the Quick Release Hook System, as well as spreader bars offering four points of attachment. There is the UltraStretch which is a horizontal lifting device that can be used with the UltaTwin overhead lifting system only.
SLINGS: There is a range of Liko slings that are suitable to use with this hoist, including general purpose, gait training, and hygiene slings.
CONTROLS: Battery powered with hand held push button control, one speed. Option of remote, wireless control for models with Transfer Motor (providing powered horizontal movement).
POWER: The hoist can complete 60 lifts per battery charge. Batteries are fully charged after approxiamtely 8 hours.
BATTERIES: Two 12 volt lead acid, gel type batteries are supplied with the hoist. The hoist can be charged when connected to the charging station. The charger switches off automatically when the batteries are fully charged. The hoist features two low battery warnings - a audible buzzer and a light indicator.
FEATURES: Transfer Motor
The Likorall system can be equipped with a transfer motor for motorised horizontal movement of the hoist along the rail. A cordless handheld remote control is available with this system (Models denoted with `E` in code)
Room to Room System (Models denoted with `R2R` `in code)
Enables transfers between different rooms using separate rail units. It utilises two lifting units with Quick Release Hook System that allows the occupant to be transferred between two rooms that are not linked by a rail connection.
Quick Release Hook and Adapter System
The Likorall Hoist features a Quick Release Hook and Adaptor System, which simplifies manual exchange of lift accessories on all Liko lifts. By a release mechanism not requiring tools, alternative spreader bars or scales can be mounted on the hoist.
SAFETY: The hoist features a Safety Drum, which enables the user to be lowered in the event of mechanical failure. The motor includes a self braking wormgear. If power to the motor is cut off, it stops automatically, then the manual emergency lowering mechanism can be engaged. The mechanical emergency lowering function is not available on the R2R models. An electrical lowering device is also included in the instance that the hand held control cannot be used. The Safety Squeeze Protection feature stops the hoist motor if contact is made with an obstacle.
