Short Description
An overhead hoist system. It can be installed on a fixed rail system in two different ways to enable use as a portable lifter or a conventional fixed overhead lifter. Can also be used with the Liko FreeSpan system, which is a freestanding, mobile frame. It is electrically operated, with a hand held control and has emergency stop and lowering functions. Lifting capacity is 200kg. Designed for indoor use only.

TRACKING: The tracking consists of aluminium in grey (natural finish) or white. The Multirall Hoist can be used on fixed ceiling tracking in a range of configurations.
Liko FreeSpan System
The hoist can also be used in conjunction with the Liko FreeSpan System, which is a mobile, freestanding rail system. This system can easliy be moved to different areas. It consists of three aluminium components: a rail, pre-fitted carriage and two uprights. No tools are required for assembly. Available in eight different rail lengths.
SPREADER BAR: The standard spreader bar features two points for sling attachment with a safety latch at each point to prevent the sling from accidentally unhooking. Several other spreader bars are available as options including Slingbar Slim and Slingbar Wide, which both offer two points of attachment and the Quick Release Hook System, as well as spreader bars offering four points of attachment.
SLINGS: There is a range of Liko slings that are suitable to use with this hoist, including general purpose, gait training, and hygiene slings.
CONTROLS: Battery powered with hand held push button control, one speed
POWER: The hoist can complete 60 lifts per battery charge. Batteries are fully charged after approxiamtely 8 hours.
BATTERIES: Two 12 volt lead acid. gel type batteries are supplied with the hoist. The hoist can be charged when connected to the charging station. The charger switches off automatically when the batteries are fully charged. The hoist features two low battery warnings - a audible buzzer and a light indicator during the lift.
FEATURES: The Mulitrall Hoist features a Quick Release Hook and Adaptor System, which simplifies manual exchange of lift accessories on all Liko lifts. By a release mechanism not requiring tools, alternative spreader bars or scales can be mounted on the hoist.
INSTALLATION: The Multirall can be installed on a fixed rail system in two different ways.
* Fixed Ceiling Mounted Hoist - The lifting unit is installed in a carriage directly on the rail system, with the strap connector (an adjustable length belt) sitting below the lifting unit. It works exactly like a conventional overhead hoist
* Portable Ceiling Mounted Hoist - The lifting unit is mounted the other way, with unit attached to the carriage on the rail system by the strap connector ie. the strap connector is above the lifting unit. In addition, this type of mounting enables room to room transfers with only one lift unit, and carriages and rail systems in all other rooms as required.
SAFETY: The hoist features a Safety Drum, which enables the user to be lowered in the event of mechanical failure. The motor includes a self braking wormgear. If power to the motor is cut off, it stops automatically, then the manual emergency lowering mechanism can be engaged. An electrical lowering device is also included in the instance that the hand held control cannot be used.
