More Details
MATERIALS: Constructed from anodized aluminium and plastic. The materials are corrosion resistant for use in damp environments.

TRACKING: The tracking system features options which allows the hoist to travel along the horizontal tracks turning off in several directions. This could allow a track running down a hallway to have several turns into various rooms. A whole room can be covered by placing tracking at each end of the room with a another track bridging between them.

With the portable model (DH1000) a free standing frame is available.

SPREADER BAR: * Models GH2, DH2000, and DH4000 feature a separate spreader bar with hooks at each end to attach slings. Spreader bar sits under the lifting unit.
* Model DH1000 features hooks to attach slings which are directly mounted at each end of the lifting unit.

SLINGS: Several specially designed slings such as vests are in the Guldmann range.

CONTROLS: * Vertical movement is controlled via a handset attached to the unit by a flexible, extendable cord.
* Horizontal movement can be performed manually or be powered (DH2000P) by the use of the handset or an infra red remote control.
* The handset control automatically switches off one minute after use.

POWER: * The DH1000 model can complete 25 lifts per battery charge; the GH2 can complete up to 100 lifts with a fully charged battery; model DH2000 is able to complete up to 140 lifts (with 85 kg) per battery charge; and the DH4000 is able to complete 140 lifts (with 150kg) per battery charge
* Charging time for the DH1000 is a maximum of 6 hours; for the GH2, DH2000 and DH4000 it is a maximum charge time of 8 hours.

BATTERIES: Two heavy duty fully sealed batteries are supplied with the hoist. The hoist can be charged when connected to the charging station. Power switches off automatically to protect the batteries when voltage drops below 17 volts. The hoist features a low battery warning.

SAFETY: For all models there are an emergency stop and lowering functions.
The hoist automatically stops lifting if the lift is not performed vertically or if the lifting strap is twisted.

WARRANTY: Twelve months

* Designed for permanent installation where higher lifting capacties and / or stable lifts of lying users is required.

Options
Several accessories are available for the Guldmann ceiling hoists:
* Extension strap for lifting strap - to be used when the distance between the ceiling and floor exceeds 3000mm.
* Several different types of spreader bars, including Mini Spreader Bar (for use with X-Small and Small slings with two attachment hooks) and Cross Hanger (four points of attachment, providing a larger distance between shoulder straps and leg straps of sling)
