More Details
FRAME: PORTABLE FRAMES:
1. Holiday Frame: An overhead suspension system supported on four legs. It can be dismantled and transported in a carry bag. It is designed for use on holidays and can be used for bed to chair transfers.
2. Pick Up Frame: A tripod with hook at the centre. Portable frame that is assembled over a person who has fallen on the floor so they can be lifted. Also could be used at beach or for picnics, or for transfers between mobile chairs.

SLINGS: Band slings are available, or alternative brands of slings may be used. Band slings are padded and available as separate or full leg, with two sizes of shoulder sling. Extension clips can be used to increase length between sling and spreaders.

CONTROLS: For the battery operated model the controls are hand held. Up and down movement is controlled by small non latching toggle switch.

POWER SOURCE: Battery operated. Battery will do 5 to 6 lifts per charge and can be recharged within 15 minutes using the charger supplied.

METHOD OF USE: The slings are put in position and the hoist pulled along the track until they are above the person being lifted. The slings are attached to the spreader bar and either the crank handles are used to raise the person or a remote switch can be used by an attendant or the person being lifted.

PEOPLE USEFUL FOR: People who need to be transferred where space is too limited for a mobile hoist.

COMMENTS: The strength of the ceiling beams must be checked before installation of a fixed ceiling track. The track must be installed accurately, so that travel along the track allows correct positioning of the person.

SAFETY: Manual override is available in case of battery failure.

Models
One model is available. A track and trolley can be mounted to the ceiling or one of the portable frames may be used to suspend the hoist.

The legs of the A frame are available as solid legs or split legs (must request at ordering if wanting to make hoist more portable)
