Short Description
A steel, portable, wall mounted hoist. The hoist is electrically operated and designed for both domestic and institutional use. The hoist is fixed to the wall by brackets. Bracket systems can be installed in a variety of locations therefore allowing the hoist to be moved to different positions.

MATERIALS: Stainless steel with aluminium mounting brackets
CONSTRUCTION: The electromechanical equipment is enclosed within the base of the hoist which has the effect of decreasing overall mass.
COLOURS: White
WHEELS: Wheels at the base of the hoist allow ease of movement from one room to another.
CONTROLS: Pneumatically operated buttons are positioned within the anchor shaped section of the boom and can be operated by either the carer or the occupant.
SLINGS: A range of slings are available for use with the Curator. 1. General purpose sling 2 .Sling with head support 3. A three piece mesh sling 4. Toilet sling.
OPTIONS: - Distance pieces are available for mounting to a wall where a skirting board or other obstacle may protrude.
- Brackets with bearing plates are provided for timber stud wall construction.
- A floor/ ceiling support secures the hoist to the floor and ceiling allowing its use where wallmounting is not possible.
- A freestanding support can be bolted to the floor allowing the hoist to be attached and released in the same way as the equivalent wall mounting brackets.
- A floor/ wall support is rigidly secured to the floor and wall, allowing the hoist to be mounted at some distance from the wall to allow for power cables, obstacles etc.
- Remote control with 1.5meter cord.
MOUNT: Attachment is via two mounting points on the wall. The weight of the hoist however rests on the floor. Extra brackets can be positioned at other locations throughout the building to allow for transfer of the hoist to areas of common usage eg. bathrooms, toilets and bedrooms.
SPREADER BAR: The spreader bar is shaped like an anchor and can be used either as an overhead monkey bar or for attachnment of the hoist slings.
POWER: Powered by mains power. Supplied with 3.5 meter power cord.
SAFETY: Emergency lowering function for power failure.
