Short Description
A battery operated, portable, folding bath hoist which lowers and raises a person in a seated position into a bath. Features a lightweight, reinforced plastic frame. The hoist can be operated by an attendant or the by the user. The backrest reclines to 35 degrees. A range of accessories is available.

MATERIALS: The Beluga is made from ABS plastic base frame. The seat and backrest are covered with an open weave non-slip material.
SEAT: The bath seat has wide flaps which are hinged and fold upwards as the seat lowers. The seat is covered in a detachable, slip resistent covering which can be removed and machine washed.
BACKREST: The backrest has a recline fucntion [up to 35 degrees] which is electrically operated by the hand held control.
CONTROLS: Electric controls are hand held on an extractable cord by the user or an attendant. A hook attachment on the control unit allows the controls to be hooked up out of the water.
BATTERIES: Battery is located at the rear of the seat. A red light shows when the battery power is low. The battery is designed only to lower if enough power is left to raise the seat.
Battery charging is achieved by disconnecting the battery from the bath hoist and insering the battery into the charging terminal. Battery charging is via a universal jack plug charger.
DISMANTLING: . Fold the backrest down.
. Unlock the seat from the base and lift apart.
OPTIONS: The Aquatec Trans XL is a rotating transfer disc which assists users in transferring on and off the seat. This disc remains fixed in place until the user is sitting, and is unlocked by the user`s weight.
SAFETY: Emergency stop button.
