Short Description
A mobile, powered [battery operated] hoist which may be used to lift and transfer a person to and from a bed, chair or the floor. It is made of aluminium and dismantles into four parts for transport. Suitable for domestic use.

SLINGS: Slings are purchased separately to the hoist.
POWER: Powered controls are handheld on an extendable cord with separate buttons for raising and lowering the hoist. There is a bracket on the hand piece to enable it to be stowed on the hoist when not in use.
BATTERIES: Battery charging is achieved by moving the hoist to a mains power outlet and plugging in the built in charger. A fully charged battery can provide approximately 60 lifts.
FEATURES: This aluminium framed, polyurethane coated hoist has an upright mast, an angled boom and a standard spreader bar with one sling attachment point at each end. The square shaped push handle has a slip resistant coating to improve grip and starts at the top of the mast then tapers down toward the bottom of the mast. Hand held controls are attached to the base of the mast and are on an extendable cord. Raise/lower and base width adjustment is powered via a handheld control. The hoist has twin castors which are lockable at the rear.
The battery pack is attached to the mast of the hoist. It has mechanical and electrical emergency lowering function. The hoist dismantles into four pieces, the heaviest being 15kg. To dismantle the hoist, the boom is folded and locked against the mast which is then removed from the base. The legs are removed from the base and can be fitted onto the mast for transport.

Designed to assist lifting a person off the floor. It allows the person to be lifted from a completely flat position. Designed to be used with a yoke.
Pivoting Frame
Replaces the standard yoke style spreader bar. This provides four separate points for sling attachment creating a cradle effect which distributes the user`s weight across the sling, reducing pressure under the thighs. It also provides a central handle which allows the carer to reposition the user. Designed to be used with a `Banana Sling`. Available in two styles:

Replaces existing spreader bar. Is accurate to 100gm. Designed to be used with all types of slings with straps.
POINTS TO CONSIDER: It is recommended that prior to using this product, training in manual handling and the correct use of assistive devices should be undertaken.
SAFETY: In case of battery failure, a mechanical lowering button can be activated with a pen, allowing removal of the user from unsafe positions.
GUARANTEE: Warranty on frame: 12 months
Warranty on electrics: 24 months [excluding batteries which is 6 months only).
