Short Description
A mobile, aluminium frame powered hoist with five interchangeable spreader bar yokes. One yoke is designed to lift and transfer persons to and from a vehicle. Other yokes enable seated, lying, or from the floor transfers. There are two models available, including the Koala 150 which is a more compact, portable model. Both models are folding and dismantle into five parts for transportation. Size suitable for domestic or institutional use. A range of options are available.

MATERIALS: The hoist is constructed from aluminium and has a polyurethane coating.
MAST: Single angled mast houses the battery (mid mast).
PUSH HANDLE: U shaped push with slip resistant grip extends almost the full length of the mast. It is wider at the top.
BASE: U shaped with electrically adjustable leg opening. The legs are removable via a push button located on the outside of either leg at the base of the hoist.
BOOM: Double bar (wire coat hanger shape). Carry handle on top angled bar (for when dismantled). Yoke attaches to the front with quick release spring loaded knob.
SPREADER BAR: The spreader bars include standard yoke with 2 point attachment hooks, 4 point attachment yoke, car yoke with 3 point attachment, and pivot hi- lift yoke (uses standard sling with swivel fittings). Yokes for indoor use enable transfers from a seated or lying position, or to or from the floor.
PLANE / ARC OF LIFT: Vertical.
CASTORS: Are swivel style, front twin castors are 100mm [4"] in diameter and rear braked castors are 125mm [5"] in diameter. Larger castors are an option.
CONTROLS: Electric controls are handle held on an extendable cord with a clip that attaches it to the hoist when not in use. The remote control handset operates the hoist mast and the leg width adjustment.
POWER: Power source is through a rechargeable battery mounted on the mast of the hoist. There is a light indicator for battery voltage level.
BATTERY CHARGING: Is achieved by removing the battery and placing it into the supplied battery charger, connected into a mains power point. Charger can be wall mounted.
SLINGS: Various slings are available from the manufacturer.
TRANSPORTATION: Transporting the hoist is possible by dismantling the hoist, using the push buttons, into five pieces and folding for transportation.
SAFETY: Safety features include an emergency stop button, a battery voltage indicator, emergency lowering and anti-crush cut out.
