Short Description
A mobile hoist which may be used to lift and transfer a person to and from a bed, chair or the floor. Available in one model powered with a tilting frame. Weighing device available as an accessory. Designed for use in domestic and institutional settings, with a lifting capacity of 175kg.

BASE: The U-shaped base has powered width adjustment. It is is operated by using the hand control.
MAST: The mast incorporates a ring shaped, angled push handle.
BOOM: The boom is angled and is not padded.
SPREADER BAR: Available as a standard spreader bar or tilting frame. The standard spreader bar rotates 360 degrees and has two hooks for sling attachment at either end. The tilting frame has four attachment points and allows the attendant to change the person's position while in the sling (e.g. reclined to more upright sitting position).
SLINGS: Slings are ordered separately.
CONTROLS: To raise and lower the person in the sling, a hand held, remote unit on an extendable, flexible cord is used. A hook on the control unit allows the controls to be placed along the push handles during use. The hand held controls allows the attendent or the person in the sling to control the lift.
POWER: The hoist is operated by a 24 volt rechargeable battery. The supplier recommends the battery is charged daily to optimise life and efficiency of battery.
METHOD OF USE: A sling is positioned around the user and then attached to the spreader bar / tilting frame. The person is raised and remains suspended in the sling while the hoist is moved into the new position.
The base can be wider to fit around furniture. When moving the hoist, for example through doorways, the base should be closed to its narrowest position.
COMMENTS: Suppliers recommend that the same brand of sling is used with the hoist to ensure optimum safety. If a different brand of sling is used the warranty may be voided.
