Short Description
Aluminium ramps designed to assist in the transfer of wheelchairs, scooters and other items into a vehicle. The ramps are an arch design to improve clearance into the vehicle. The ramps fold and half and are a channel design. Available in one configuration only. Each ramp channel has a load capacity of 300kg. The supplier is based in Victoria but will post the ramps anywhere in Australia for a modest postage fee.

MATERIALS: The ramps are made of high grade, light weight aluminium which is rust proof.
FEATURES: The ramps have a unique arch design to reduce the height of doorway opening required for a wheelchair/scooter to clear through the opening. The end of the ramp which is placed in the vehicle has a 3 rubber capped prongs which increase the stability of the ramp. The ramp channels have a slip stop (edge guard) to prevent wheels rolling off the edge. There is a non slip surface on the channels allowing people to walk on the channels whilst pushing a person in a wheelchair up/down the ramps. They fold in half to allow easier transport and storage.
AREAS FOR USE: The ramps can be used with most types of vehicles including utilities, station wagons, four wheel drives and vans. Due to the load capacity fo 300kg per ramp channel, the ramps are suitable for transferring of a wheelchair and occupant into and out of a vehicle.
