MATERIALS: Outer cover is made from soft brushed polycotton. Optional waterproof outer cover is available. Inner liner made from polythene (waterproof).
METHOD OF USE: The arm support is filled with desired amount of fill. This varies according to the size of the user and the chair.
The narrow neck of the cushion should be placed behind the individual’s back and the individual leans on it. This should hold the neck of the cushion in position but an elastic loop has been sewn into the end of the neck so it can be secured via a ribbon if necessary. The neck can be used as a lumbar support if it is filled with beans. The main body of the cushion is placed on the chair’s armrest and molded into shape to support the individual’s arm and hand. An elastic loop enables the cushion to be tied to the chair if necessary.
PEOPLE USEFUL FOR: People who have a paralysed arm (eg following a stroke/CVA).
LAUNDERING: The inner liner bag is removable to allow the outer cover to be washed.
