Short Description
A range of adjustable hip belts and shoulder harnesses that can be attached to a wheelchair and are used to position the user and provide postural support. Available with or without padding, in a range of sizes.
More Details
All hip belts and shoulder harnesses in this range are constructed of seat belt style webbing weave. Padding is made of foam and is covered with a wrinkle free soft fabric lining. A variety of buckles can be chosen. The buckle sits on the outside of the padding. D rings aid in tightening the belt. The metal end fittings can be fastened to the wheelchair using clamps and screws.
Buckle choices include:
- push button buckle
- plastic push button buckle
- aircraft latch buckle
- quad belt with aircraft latch buckle
- side release buckle
- medial centre pull (four point hip belt)
- medial rear pull (four point hip belt)
Hip Belts
To provide support to help prevent the user from slipping down or falling forwards out of the wheelchair and encourages correct pelvic positioning.
Styles include:
- Centre Pull Hip Belt
- Dual Pull Hip Belt
- Rear Pull Hip Belt
- Four Point Hip Belt
Available in a range of sizes.
Shoulder Harness
Provides anterior shoulder support to help the user to maintain an upright posture and to prevent the user from falling forwards out of the wheelchair.
Styles include:
- H Harness Rear Pull
- Backpack Harness Front Pull
