Short Description
Two wheelchair cushions consisting of viscoelastic polymer pads bonded to urethane foam [on the base] to provide a comfortable chair pad. The cushions have a breathable removable cover with a slip resistant base. Available in seven standard sizes and ten customised sizes. Recommended for short term use and comfort for persons at low risk of developing pressure sores.

MATERIALS: Urethane foam base, viscoelastics polymer pads.
FEATURES: Both cushions are sealed in a waterproof film barrier to guard against incontinence permeation.
These cushions may be beneficial for drivers as they are staqble, low height and have good shock absorption.
Standard cover for both cushions is a breathable economy cover with a three sided ring zipper, carrying handle and slip resistant base.
Properties of Viscoelastic Polymer:
. Same shear characteristics as human skin
. Easily cleaned with disinfectant
. Won`t absorb body fluids
. Xray transparent
. Reusable, durable, repairable
. Fire rated as self extinguishing
. Self healing if punctured
COVER: Both cushions have a basic cover made from polyester and nylon.
Option: Incontinent cover is available for Centurian.
Replacement covers can be ordered separately.
CUSTOMISED FEATURES: Size of cushion can be customised.
For Centurian, children`s sizes available on request.
APPLICATION: Recommended for short term use and comfort for persons at low risk of developing pressure areas

Commuter - offers basic pressure and shear reduction for people at low risk. Combined 13mm Akton polymer and 44mm foam.
Centurian - offers pressure and shear reduction for people at low risk. Combination of equal layers of gel and firm foam (i.e. 16mm). Provides some shock absorption for vehicle drivers.
