Short Description
A one piece cushion with a contoured foam base and Jay flow fluid overlay with stretch cover. It is available in five sizes.

MATERIALS: Base: soft polyurethane foam
J2 Fluid Pad overlay: Jay flow pad. The Jay flow has no memory, requires no maintenance, maintains viscosity at high and low temperatures and provides maximum contact to reduce pressures, accommodates different body types and results in reduced chance of bottoming out, pressure sores and shearing on the skin.

COVER: Standard black, washable cover

APPLICATION: The supplier states that the cushion is appropriate for a person at moderate risk of developing pressure areas.

POINTS TO CONSIDER: - Reinforced, curved base allows cushion to be positioned up to 50mm beyond support surface
- Designed primarily for geriatric and stroke clients, particularly those with a kyphotic posture.
- Provides postural support for those with a fixed posterior pelvic tilt (sacral sitter).

COMMENTS: - Total cushion length is approximately 25mm longer than stated - designed to fit between back posts. Hence sizes reflect appropriate wheelchair size for cushion.
