Short Description
A cushion with a contoured foam base and Jay flow overlay with air exchange cover which is suitable for a person with an active lifestyle. It is available in eight sizes and may be customised. Suitable for people requiring medium pressure relief, but without the positioning of the Jay J2 Cushion.

COVER: Options: AirExchange version to reduce sweating or an Incontinent Resistant cover. They have a handle for easy lifting, rear cutouts that "lock " the cushion to the chair, a slip resistent bottom and a concealed valuables pocket.
MATERIALS: Base: contoured foam base with cover
Jay flow fluid pad which has no memory, requires no maintenance, maintains viscosity at high and low temperatures and provides maximum contact to reduce pressures, accommodates different body types and results in reduced chance of bottoming out, pressure sores and shearing on the skin.
CUSTOMISED FEATURES: Some customisation of foam base available
APPLICATION: The supplier states that the cushion is appropriate for a person at moderate risk of developing pressure areas.
The cushion is designed for the active person where pressure relief is a concern but the postural support of a J2 is not required.
POINTS TO CONSIDER: Curved bottom of cushion to neutralise effects of a sling seat without the need of a solid seat insert.
The cushion is level front to back and side to side to make shifting and transfering easier.
The centre seam stops side to side movement of fluid to help prevent leaning and discourage scoliosis.
