Short Description
A moulded foam cushion with firm foam under the thighs and softer foam under the ischials to enhance positioning. Available in a range of six sizes and the supplier states that this cushion is suitable for use with someone at low risk of developing pressure areas. The cushion has a fluid resistant, polyknit cover.
Caution
All cushions must be monitored to prevent 'bottoming out'. This occurs when the user's weight bears down so hard on the product material that it is flattened and the bony parts are pressed against the surface below the cushion. Where bottoming out occurs even with correct use (eg correct choice and depth of foam) , a different product may need to be considered.

MATERIALS: Dual firmness, moulded polyurethane foam
FEATURES: Firmer foam used under the thighs and hips, and softer foam under the ischials.
COVER: Water repellant cover with slip resistant bottom, durable washable, black polyknit fabric.
APPLICATION: The supplier states that the cushion is appropriate for a person at low risk of developing pressure areas.
POINTS TO CONSIDER: - Adductor contours assist to align the legs with the hips.
