Short Description
The Q600 powered wheelchair base with a paediatric seating system attached. The chair has a rigid steel frame, uses a mid wheel drive and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. This wheelchair is able to be fitted with powered tilt in space and recline seating options. A range of accessories are also available.
Additional Information
The motorized wheelchair is to be used only by the registered operator who:
1) Has a doctor's certificate stating that due to movement impairment they have a need to use the wheelchair for assisted travel.
2) Is capable of safely operating the wheelchair.
3) Will abide by the Queensland road rules.

Frame: Standard: Rigid frame
Seat: Synergy seat with Tru-balance tilt and recline options, up to 55 degrees of tilt. Seating available in individual tilt and recline options or combined tilt and recline. Seating available with seat base board. Also adjustable for growth.

Backrest: Standard: Solid curved backrest.
Options: Options for seating include synergy shaped backrest, and Tru-Comfort backrest for powered tilt and recline.
Headrests: Available in a range of options including Stealth headrests in small, large sizes and swing away/flip down. Medical applications headset available with fixed, offset mounting bracket.
Armrests: Available in a range of options including flip back, single and two post height adjustable, removable height adjustable and paediatric removable. Armrests with quad release lever can also be requested.
Colours: Frame available in following colours- Champagne, Candy Apple Red, Viper Blue, Onyx Black, Sunburst Orange. Also available in children`s colours including Bronto Blue, T-Rex red, Gator Green, Prehistoric Pink, Saber Yellow and Primal Purple.
Legrests: Standard swing away legrests. Also available in 70 and 80 degree swing away and swing away with extensions. Other optional extras include elevating and heavy duty legrests.
Footplates: Standard aluminium footplates, also available as angle adjustable, angle adjustable extended,multi axis and multi axis extension (ball and socket).
Wheels: Mid wheel drive wheels 35.5 cm diameter.
Controls: The wheelchair features a programable Q Logic controller with an interactive display to allow IR functions and bluetooth Mouse cursor control. Multiple drive perameters able to be programmed into controller.
Power Options: Powered seat tilt, powered seat recline, and powered seat tilt and recline available as optional extras.
Batteries: 2 x 12 volt, 55 amp batteries required available in sealed acid and gel cell batteries.
Customisation: Options exist for multiple seating set up and controller options on this power chair.

Accessories: Calf pads, Cane/crutch holder, oxygen holder, walker holder, cup holder, lap belt.

Licence & Insurance Requirements
A license is not required for a rider in an exempt motor chair (electric wheelchair) which is limited to a maximum speed of 10km/h. The rider of the wheelchair is considered a pedestrian and road rules apply as for pedestrians.
All motorized wheelchairs need to be registered. This also includes wheelchairs that use the footpath, cross roads or drive on the side of the road where the footpath is unsuitable. Motorized wheelchairs may be registered to an individual or to an organization. In the instance of a paediatric client using a powered wheelchair the client's parent/guardian would be required to register the wheelchair on behalf of the client. Organizations registering motorized wheelchairs may include nursing homes, shopping centers, education institutions and hire companies. A motorized wheelchair must be registered to be eligible for third party insurance which is optional. There are no fees for registration or compulsory third party (CTP) insurance for motorized wheelchairs.
When registering a motorized wheelchair for the first time, the applicant must provide a doctor`s letter/certificate/statement stating that due to severe movement impairment they need the use of a motorized wheelchair for assisted travel. A doctor's certificate/letter/statement must be provided each time a different motorized wheelchair is registered.
