Short Description
A manual wheelchair with a folding steel frame. It is attendant propelled or self propelled using a rear wheel drive action and is suitable for adults. The wheelchair has a manual stand up feature which is operated by pushing downward on the single footplate. The wheelchair is available in one seat width and has a single axle position. The armrests are full length and are fixed. The legrest length is also fixed.

More Details
FRAME: Folding steel frame - seat/footplate unit needs to be removed prior to folding the wheelchair frame. Anti tip wheels are standard and are removable.
SEAT: Slung style. Available in one seat width only.
BACKREST: Slung style. Backrest extension is standard. A removable non folding bar is standard.
ARMRESTS: Full length with padded upholstery on top. Aluminium skirt guards within the armrest.
LEGRESTS: Fixed to the single footplate. Unable to be adjusted in length.
FOOTPLATES: Single footplate which is fixed. When pressed downward, the footplate attachments cause the rear of the seat to elevate assisting the wheelchair user into a standing position.
BRAKES: Rear wheel brakes can be operated by an attendant using the lever under the push handles or by the more standard lever located next to the wheel.
CUSTOMISED FEATURES: Not able to be customised.
COMMENTS: The stand up mechanism is operated by an attendant standing in front of the user in the wheelchair and applying downward pressure on the single footplate. This action causes the rear of the wheelchair seat to elevate which raises the wheelchair user into a standing position.
Self propulsion is not efficient as the seat height is quite high because of the manual stand up mechanism, compromising the reach to the push rims.
MAINTENANCE: All wheelchairs require regular maintenance. Refer to User Manual for specific details.
