Teeny Wheelchair

Short Description
Child and adolescent size wheelchairs with lightweight aluminium folding frames that allow adjustment for growth. The chairs feature multiple rear wheel settings, castor and component choices to provide a customised wheelchair for individual needs.

More Details
FRAME: Aluminium folding frame.

UPHOLSTERY: Nylon with a choice of five colours or optional designer fabric.

SEAT: Slung nylon seat, adjustable in depth on the Teeny, adjustable in depth and width on the Teeny Plus.

BACKREST: Slung nylon back, adjustable in height on the Teeny, adjustable in height and width on the Teeny Plus.

ARMRESTS: Options:
Plastic side panel, detachable with height adjustable armrest.
Standard plastic side panel, detachable, height adjustable, no armrest.
Clothing protector, detachable, height adjustable.
Wheel cover, detachable, height adjustable.

LEGRESTS: Intergral part of the front frame which is flared out to provide a wider front end for extra space for the feet, and stable castor positioning.

FOOTRESTS: Footrests can be mounted out of the base of the front frame tubing for longer leg lengths, or, further back, between the castors for shorter leg lengths.
Options inlcude:
Single panel footrest, angle adjustable.
Single panel footrest, angle adjustable, narrow.
Individual footrests, angle adjustable.

HANDLE/S: Choose from offset push handles which flare out and are suited to narrower seat widths, or standard, short or straight push handles. All are height adjustable.

WHEELS: 500mm (20") or 550mm (22") rear wheels with quick release axle. Standard with 1 3/8" tyres, with options for high pressure grey, and coarse tread black tyres.

CASTORS: Choose from 100mm (4") or 125mm (5") solid rubber, 140mm soft rubber, 150mm (6") pneumatic or solid tyre. Quick release castors, and an adaptor to allow low seat heights are optional.

WHEEL LOCKS: Standard push to lock wheel lock.
Wheel lock with adjustable operation lever.
Dual activating wheel lock for user and attendant use.

MAINTENANCE: All wheelchairs require regular maintenance. Refer to User manual for specific details.

Models
Two models are available:
1. Teeny allows seat depth to be adapted to grow with the child.
2. Teeny Plus allows seat depth and width to grow with the child.
