Short Description
An aluminum framed, attendant propelled wheelchair designed for children in hip spica splints or other fixed casts. The wheelchair is available in three seat widths and features a tilt in space funciton, reclining backrest and elevating legrests. The wheelchairs is available with blue, green, pink or black seating.
More Details
FRAME: Aluminium frame. Stainless steel screws.
Attendant adjustment bolts are made from Zytel plastic which contains glass to prevent breakage.
Frame includes rear, swing up, anti tip bars and tipping levers.
UPHOLSTERY: Seating system is covered with Porolux material which is breathable, water resistant, antibacterial. The material is also four way stretch to assist with shear reduction.
COLOURS: Available with blue, green, pink or black seating.
SEAT: Padded, memory foam and polyurethane foam to prevent bottoming out.
The seat depth is adjustable adn the seat is available in three widths. The seat also features an adjustable tilt.
BACKREST: Padded, memory foam backrest. Backrest is adjustable in height and can be reclined. Backrest is removable for transportation. The top of the backrest canes curve forward to assist the attendant to propel the wheelchair when it is in the fully reclined/tilt position.
HEADREST: Padded headrest.
ARMRESTS: Option of height adjustable armrests.
LEGRESTS: Wheelchair comes with adjustable angle leg splints available in three lengths.
FOOTPLATES: Option of angle adjustable metal footrests with plastic covering.
WHEELS: Pneumatic, puncture resistant tyres. Singel axel position.
CASTORS: Solid.
BRAKES: Operated by foot pedal.
MECHANISM: A push down foot pedal is used to activate the tilt in space and recline mechanisms.
DISMANTLING: Unscrew orange bolt at base of backrest. Remove full backrest. The remaining two parts can then be placed in the boot of a car.
SAFETY: Wheelchair features tie down points for transport in wheelchair accessible vehicles.
MAINTENANCE: All wheelchairs require regular maintenance. Refer to User Manual for specific details.
WARRANTY: 24 months.
