Compax Lite

Short Description
A manual wheelchair with a folding reinforced aluminium frame. It is attendant propelled or self propelled using a drive mechanism positioned above the rear wheel and is suitable for large children and adults. The wheelchair is available in three seat widths and has a single axle position. It folds compactly to the size of a small golf bag. A range of accessories is available.

FRAME: Standard: Folding frame made from aluminium with steel reinforcement.
Options: Anti tip bars.

COLOURS: Standard: Ocean Blue
Options: Burgundy, Purple, Raspberry, Navy Blue, Teal.

SEAT: Standard: Slung style. Available in three seat widths.

BACKREST: Standard: Slung style. Peg style push handles. Backrest does not extend down to meet the seat therefore a gap exists between the seat and the start of the backrest.
Options: Bucket seat which eliminates the gap between the seat and the backrest.

ARMRESTS: Standard: Tubular style. Covered with foam.

LEGRESTS: Standard: Fixed.

FOOTPLATES: Standard: Two piece, lift up. Plastic.
Options: Footplate bridge (eliminates gap between the footplates), heel loops, ankle straps.

WHEELS: Standard: Microcellular polyurethane tyres. Puncture resistant. The Compax Max and Compax Self Drive have a larger diameter rear wheel.

CASTORS: Standard: Microcellular polyurethane castor tyres.

BRAKES: Standard: Toggle style operated with a lever.

COMMENTS: The wheelchair folds compactly by lifting the seat upholstery and pushing the handles together. When folded, the wheelchair is the size of a small golf bag.

MAINTENANCE: All wheelchairs require regular maintenance. Refer to User Manual for specific details.

WARRANTY: Five years.

Models
Two models are available.
1. The Compax Lite is the standard model and is the lightest in weight. Teal colour.
2. The Compax Max has larger diameter semi pneumatic rear wheels and provides a smoother ride on uneven surfaces. Ocean Blue colour.
