Short Description
A manual wheelchair with reclining backrest and a folding aluminum frame. It is self propelled using a rear wheel drive action and is suitable for adults. This wheelchair has multiple adjustable components to enable customisation for clients. It has multi position axle and adjustments for seat height and seat width. A range of accessories is available.
More Details
FRAME
Material and finish: powder coated aluminium, single cross brace folding frame. Height adjustable rear anti tip bar. Frames also comes with torsion bar mounted at the back between the canes. Axle plate allows for vertical and horizontal adjustment.
MECHANISM
Recline:
Cable operated levers beneath the push handles (levers are squeezed as the wheelchair occupant leans against the backrest) Can also be occupant activated with levers positioned under armrests.
SEAT
Slung style with 2 way stretch liquid proof upholstery. Supplied with 4cm granular foam with 2cm memory foam seat cushion. Seat width can be adjusted within the range of 40cm to 50cm.
UPHOLSTERY
2 way stretch, liquid proof, synthetic fabric
Option of 100% Surecheck Fabric Upholstery.
BACKREST
Slung style with thick padded backrest cushion
Adjustable backrest angle, height adjustable push handles.
Has a storage pocket at the rear of the backrest.
HEADREST
Adjustable curved headrest (height, angle, forwards, backwards)
ARMRESTS
Full length padded armrests that can be adjusted in height and forward/back position. Also supplied with padded side panels.
LEGREST
Provided standard with swingaway legrest. Option of swing away, removable, elevating and articulating (and therefore adjustable in angle and length), legrest with calf pads. Option of stump support available also.
FOOTPLATES
Two piece, lift up plastic footplates with angle and forward/back adjustment. Included heel straps.
WHEELS
Ultra light weight Quick release spoked wheels with standard 59.5cm pneumatic tyres. Multi axle positions with adjustment for the vertical and/or horizontal plane. Black powder coated push rims.
Options of Low resistance high pressure pneumatic tyre or low maintenance airless polyurethane tyre.
CASTORS
Solid, mag 15cm castors with soft ride suspension. Vertical adjustment.
Option of 18cm non suspension castor
BRAKES
Include what is standard and what is optional (including accessories)
Push to lock, pull to unlock lever style brakes mounted at the front of the rear tyre.
